It always helps if your large chain isn’t run by babboons. Oh, I know…let’s open stores next door to B&N (and vice verse, to be sure) for ten years, to weaken everything about each other and of course ourselves, so that as soon as tough times arrive, we’ll both go into Cheyne-Stokes breathing!
