  1. The fact that the Mariners have lost 16 games in a row, or

  2. The fact that they’re still ten games better than the Astros?

    Number 2.

    I still expect them to fall short of 110 losses, even though they’re currently on track to lose 109 games.

    But these are the Astros; they even fail at failing.
