In this case it was <a href=\"http:\/\/www.alplm.org\/blog\/2011\/02\/24-volumes-lost-now-found\/\">a 24 volume set of the collected works of Abraham Lincoln<\/a>, missed by all previous Lincoln bibliographies, the last volume of which is bound holographic letters by Lincoln and others. So how could all the previous Lincoln bibliographies have missed it?<\/p>\n<p>Perhaps because the entire print run of this edition was limited to <b>8 copies<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>Talk about your impossible holy grails.
