Danish band Spokraket offers garage band psychedelic surf rock married to Here Come the Warm Jets-era Brain Eno, offering plenty of distorted guitars and end up sounding like a low-fi version of Black Tambourine. “Just Go Spit Out Another Lie” is pretty much a steady state Shoegaze song: Like the riff and groove? Just wait around and there will be plenty more of it coming down the pike…

Lights That Change is a neo-Shoegaze band out of the UK. With “Beautiful Soul” they offer up a bright, gauzy, floating slab of prettiness with some great female vocals.
Sadly, it seems that vocalist Lisa VonH has already split with the band.

Yet another cover, this one UK’s Stumbleine covering Mazzy Star’s “Fade Into You.”
All These Fallen Trees sounds a bit more post-rock than Shoegaze, but “God Created Earth, We Created Heaven” hits a sweet mellow spot between Midsummer and Explosions in the Sky.
For your Sunday dose of Shoegaze, here’s Australian shoegaze band The Dunes (sometimes spelled TheDunes) with “Post Office Rock,” another entry in the “Damn, waltz-time Shoegaze sounds really good” sweepsteaks. (See also: Mazzy Star’s “Fade Into You” and Auburn Lull’s “Arc of an Outsider.”)
I really am on a Slowdive cover kick. Skies of Ember is a Filipino band, and although it says so nowhere in the title or description, this video is actually a live instrumental cover of Slowdive’s “Catch the Breeze.”
Evidently I just can’t get enough of Slowdive covers. Here’s the now defunct (or on hiatus) Center of the Sun doing a crunchy, guitar-drenched cover of “Machine Gun.”
They also did a cover of Mazzy Star’s “Fade Into You.” Obviously this is a band on my wavelength…
Silvania is Peruvian duo currently resident in Spain (and not a manufacturer of inferior lightbulbs). “Trilce” is from the “floaty, spacy” branch of Shoegaze.
